Americans not adjusting to life in a foreign country. Wow, I am shocked! I was born in Brazil and have travelled all over the world. If you move to a foreign country expecting it to be like the US, just stay home. My fiance is from Medellin, Colombia and I see the same thing there, they don't venture outside of their expat enclaves, very little effort to learn the language- they basically live in a bubble and never get to experience the real Colombia.

Is there a need for US accounting and expat tax prep in Belize? I would love to move my practice there.

Met a few who've had their property taken even tho they went through lawyers.

Had 3 Belizean military police get on my boat and one Mexican. 3 had machine guns the leader a Glock and was Belizean. The leader tryed to confiscated my boat. Gave him a look that said you'll be the first to die. He back down. The Mexican was a very nice guy. Just looked for drugs and left.

Just closed on my property in phase 2 with the help of Ruben! I believe in this so much just from watching as many of Wills videos as possible and other methods of due diligence, that I purchased the property without even stepping foot in Belize! Looking forward to visiting in November and meeting Will and Rubens as well as the rest of the team at ReMax!

I've seen this so many times, even invested twice in almost identical projects: great potential, building a new community in what seemed like a promising location, initial enthusiasm, and then, 5-6 years later, many disappointed clients can't sell anything even for a fraction of the initial payment. After 10 years, it turns into a swamp with numerous abandoned homes, partly destroyed by hurricanes and tsunamis. I hope I'm wrong this time, I really do. But history teaches us that this is the most common outcome.

Cost of living is a main issue. Not much opportunity for locals but also tax is not very burdensome like US or other placeses. Belize medical is good many pple get heal our cured in Belize that modern hospital could not cure so its balance in the sence. Belize is a poor country so its not very modernize with essentials but if u cant be happy in Belize u will not be nowhere else in the world 100% of that

We also worked with Hassan and I have to say we couldn't be happier. We just got back from Secret Beach a few days ago and everything looks great. Definitely seeing a lot of progress and seems like there's much more to come.
